These were "quite good" in DH's words, which is a high compliment when it comes to 'sweets" as he does not eat them often. These ARE delicious! I used wild blueberries and followed the recipe as written, except I had to add just a tablespoon more buttermilk. I ended up cutting them into different sized shapes before baking - giving some large and some smaller-sized scones. I was skimpy on the powdered sugar and wish I had added just a tad more. After 10 minutes my scones were still quite doughy looking, so I baked an extra 7 minutes - and I think I could have gone a bit longer as they did not all get a good crispy bottom. Nevertheless, I really like these ! Thanks for posting Maven - made for ZWT8 Family Picks and the Herbaceous Curvaceous Honeys.

What a wonderful scone recipe!!! Just loved the flavors of the blueberry and white chocolate. I made 1/4 of the recipe to get 2 large or 4 small scones. Mine were no where near done in the 10 minutes, so I baked them about 8 minutes more. I forgot to dust with the sugar before baking, so I did so afterwards. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe. These are delicious! My mixture was a bit moister than I had anticipated even using just 3/4 cup homemade buttermilk, but that didn't affect the final product. I patted it into a circle on a parchment lined cookie sheet and wasn't able to cut into triangles due to the moist mixture. I baked the scones about 15 minutes and then cut them, moved them apart a little bit and then baked another 6-7 minutes. It worked out just fine. I loved the added sweetness from the powdered sugar tops and my white chips were deliciously melted due to the extra baking time I added. What a forgiving recipe! I will definitely make these again. Thanks for posting. Made for Family Picks, ZWT 6
