From a free recipe book given out by Philadelphia Cheese (on the purchase of of 3 products). They classify this as a dessert but I think could be served as a sweet appertiser. Chill time not included in timing.
This is a very tasty dessert and looks pretty, too. Very nice for winter entertaining as it does resemble a snowball quite a bit. :) I left out the icing sugar, added some ground vanilla bean seeds and used ground nuts in place of the chopped ones. That worked out nicely. Somehow my ball was a bit too wet and really sticky, so next time Ill try reducing the white choc a tad to see if that does the trick. I think this is only as good as the white chocolate you use, so get the good stuff and you have an easy, impressive and tasty dessert. :) THANKS FOR SHARING PAT! Delicious! I didn't use the hazelnuts (see photo) because I wasn't sure if kids would like them or not. I served them with Pocky sticks, dark chocolate cookies, and raisin bread. Thanks for this great recipe!

Whipped these balls together in no time at all & had them ready to take to a potluck the next day! I think the toasted nuts really made this! Big hit & no real fuss ~ Just what I like sometimes! Thanks, Pat, for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup Tag]
