      I enjoyed these, they were on the decadent side. My main reservation was thatI used yukon gold potatoes and after beating them with the mixer they took on a bit of a gluey texture. Maybe a russet would have been better. I actually had a little trouble finding the white cheddar, but that is probably due to a limited selection at the market I went to. I think another cheese would have worked well too.

      Zaar Tag OMG this was delish. I made this 3am. I was feeling a bit Peckish and am I glad. I could live on mashed taters 1. Simple to make 2. Just a few ingredients on hand 3. Delish. Saved some for potato pancakes 4. Definetely a keeper I've put sour cream in potatoes but not whipping cream-this was great thanks for sharing
