Very easy, nice sauce when it is done. I marinated overnight, served with rice and broccoli for a nice, light dinner. Thanks! Chivas Regal was the booze.
wow is this good! Whip this together the night before to marinade and you have a great meal. Well worth trying.
The chicken was tender but I overdid the whiskey.. it was very loud in flavor. We didnt enjoy, but I used the chicken the next day to make quesadillas.. very yummy the next day. The next time i will measure my ingredients.
I love this recipe! Easy to make, and great flavour. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us.
I marinated more than a dinner's worth because it sounded so good. First try, even with Gentleman Jack it was too boozy and a bit dry - so I added 1/2cup of Dale's and the next try was perfect, moist, tender and full flavored. Thanks for the recipe.
This was a great recipe because it was very quick to prepare (I marinated it overnight) and full of flavour. I served it with mashed potatoes.
These were good. Used chicken thighs. I did sub the ginger root with ginger though, as I didn't have any on hand.
These were absolutely incredible. Used boneless chix breasts and made a mushroom gravy out of the marinade. First put the whole thing into the crockpot for 2.5 hours, then cooked-covered-on stovetop for 1/2 hour. Thickened marinade w/ flour & added a few handfuls of mushroom chunks. My husband now thinks I'm some sort of kitchen genius. Served with Bird's garlic mashed potatoes for a delicious meal. Thanks! :)
These were fantastic. I did add two extra cloves of garlic and crushed them but otherwise did not deviate from the recipe. Thanks for sharing another great recipe!
Perfect. The only change, I used a leek instead of green onion. I had to do something with it. The flavor suggest maybe adding a little citrus to the marinade. Maybe next time.
