Wham Salad

"This is a vegetarian version of ham salad for sandwiches or to use in a green salad. I got the recipe from the website for vegetarian food products, for the Worthington, Loma Linda and Cedar Lake brands of imitation meat products. Although we do eat meat, we love these recipes as well. I think you will like them too if you try them. Make sure you don't chop ingredients too fine or it won't mix well and it will be too gooey. You can find these meatless products in a natural health food store or online through vegefood.com The cooking time is the chilling time."

  1. I haven't even tried this yet and I know I'm going to LOVE it. I LOVE Worthington Wham, it's the best faux lunch meat slices I've ever had. I will be making this soon and will post a picture with a review. I will be using Veganaise instead of Mayo and I don't know about the egg, I usually only eat eggs in stuff (like wham).

  2. I've eaten Wham all my life since introduced. I make these sandwiches only never put eggs in---but great idea! Thanks!

I am married, have three children and two grandchildren. My youngest "oops" baby is just turning 17 and is going to be a senior in high school in the fall.. I love to cook and collect recipes. I get a lot of my good recipes from church potlucks. Since I am now retired and a stay at home mom, I have time to search the RecipeZaar site and try a lot of the recipes. We love living on the coast and would never move back inland!
