- 1 quart Nestle chocolate milk
- 2 (8 ounce) packages Cool Whip
- 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
- Mix all together and freeze in ice cream maker.
I have to agree with The Thorn's review - it is great! I also have a one quart ice cream freezer. I halved the recipe and still had some left over for another batch- perhaps not quite a full quart, however. I used Nestle double chocolate milk - I thought I had the regular kind until I got home, but the results were delish! When you start to mix the ingredients, I recommend using a hand mixer or stand mixer to thoroughly combine everything.
This was wonderful - tasted just like the real thing - probably better! A word of caution - I have a 1 quart Cusinart Ice cream maker and this recipe made enough of the mix for 2 shots at the ice cream maker. I simply refroze the Ice cream freezer bowl and made another batch the next day. Just put the remaining mixture in a tight container and refrigerate until you use it again - but I wouldn't keep it in the frig more than a day or two before using it up. Wow - I still can't believe it
