This definitely had some kick but needed salt and maybe something else. If I made it again, I might add corn and black beans. I just needed something more I guess. I cooked the brown rice seperate as others had suggested. My husband did enjoy this, although he poured hot sauce on it, also.

This had good flavor and was spicy. I doubled all the spices. Also used instant brown rice as the reviewers had suggested. I would probably cut the water in half if I was to make this again, because it seemed really soupy.

Great recipe! One correction, brown rice takes 45 minutes to cook. White rice is the one that only takes 15. No need to cook the brown rice separately as long as you adjust the cooking time in the skillet. 5 stars for taste, 4 stars because I had to adjust the cooking time from the instructions.

The brown rice was cooked separatley for 45 minutes and one chicken breast was sauteed in the pan next to the partially sauteed onions, bell peppers and seasonings. I then removed the breast, chopped it and added it back to the pan with the tomatoes, olives and some artichokes I had on hand. Dh says it was very satisfying and he was surprised it was a WW recipe. Definitely not bland. I loved its ease.

I tried this and the spicy taste was very good. I used instant brown rice since I had read other comments before making it. I did not have stewed tomatoes and used a can of tomato sauce...but that did not hamper the taste...I do know the stewed tomatos might have made it a little sweeter...but I forgot to add a drop of sweetner to see. My husband and I both liked it and I will make it again. Sorry..I hate when people change eveything around in your recipe and then rate it...but it's good even if I made a slight change. :) Joyce

I loved it. So did my mum and hubby. I cooked the rice seperately after reading the reviews below, but the dish itself was delicious and easy to do. Highly recommended!

Even if I weren't interested in a great WW Core recipe, I'd love this recipe! I took the suggestion to cook the rice separately. I used wild rice since I was out of brown and it worked well. Perhaps others could use instant brown rice and have it cook in the time listed. I also added 1/2 can of black beans just cuz I love 'em! I will surely keep this on the weekday menu rotation. Thanks Budgie!

On the plus side, this was a tasty, nicely-spiced dish with a good mix of flavors. ON the minus side,t he rice just wouldn't cook properly. I agree with the other reviewers--cook the rice separately. I think this would also be good with the addition of some quartered button mushrooms.

I was sort of shocked that I liked this recipe as much as I did. This is not the best meal you could ever make, but for the low calories and ease of preparation, it's hard to beat. My husband didn't get excited about this, but he DID eat it without complaining, so... a winner!

This was sooo good! I made this last night, and my husband and I both loved it! The rice was a little undercooked, so I will cook the rice separately next time. Oh, we added a little reduced--fat shredded cheese and a dab of fat-free sour cream to our bowls...Excellent!!

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I did fully cook my rice separately before adding to the dish but that is the only change I made. Will dfiniely make this easy recipe again. Thanks for the recipe.

This is another Very Yummy Meal! It was a tiny bit too spicy for me so I used a little FF Ranch dressing to cool it down a bit! My husband thought the spice was perfect. You couldn't even tell you were using brown rice.

I made this meal and it was very tasty. I am not usually a brown rice fan but it worked in this meal. The tomato made the meal a little sweeter than I expected but still good. thanks!
