Reviews

  1. Good flavor, but it needs to be dipped in something for the breading to stick better. Wasn't very crunchy like I thought it would be. My mom was on WW and they said if you spread a little low-fat mayo or dip your finger in veg. oil and spread on chicken it doesn't add that many extra calories and it will crisp up better.

  2. This is one yummy chicken recipe! I used panko italian breadcrumbs and whirled them with the parmesan cheese in the food processor so they would have the same consistency. I also sprayed the tops of the chicken with cooking spray to give them a golden crust and help the crumbs stick a little better. This was so easy and definitely a keeper! I served with Recipe #358209, for a perfect healthy meal. Thanks for sharing!

  3. No way is this Weight Watchers! I like this better than actuall breaded and fried chicken cutlets. So yummy and easy to make! Thank you so much for sharing this great recipe.

  4. *Original Post 03/18/08* I've made these a few times now, and I could've sworn I'd written a review! Everytime I've made these I've followed the directions to a T. The only slight change is using 4 C's grated parm instead of Kraft "powdered" parm. Either way, it's awesome. However, I can say the best way is making these to go with Cabarnet Marinara and pasta. YUM-O! Definitely a keeper recipe no matter how you make it! *EDIT 03/23/09* I've also learned if I add a sprinkle of McCormick Parmesan Herb seasoning to both sides before baking, the flavor is even more enhanced. Not too sure how it changes the nutritional value, but thought I'd add in my extra tip :)

  5. Not much I can add to 115 other reviews, but this is very good! I will cut the breast into cutlets next time, though, as they were a bit thick. I served plain as written, but will try them with some tomato sauce next time. Very quick and easy, btw.

Tweaks

  1. Very good. I used onion powder instead of the garlic powder and also added a bit of salt and oregano. I gave the chicken a shot of olive oil Pam before baking. Crispy and juicy, will make again. Thanks for the recipe.

  2. This was quite good. I used regular breadcrumbs with 1/4 tsp of oregano and a 1/4 tsp of basil added. I used drumsticks instead of breasts and had to cook them for 35 minutes, but they were pretty big. Like mydesigirl I just put the chicken in the ziploc bag and shook. Worked like a charm.

  3. I made a bunch of these for lunches this week. I am putting them on salads. That is way I chose to use chicken strips instead of breasts. I ended up with a very tasty lunch. I put italian dressing on the salad before topping with two strips of chicken. Thanks.

  4. Made this with the help of my 4 and 6 year old boys. They loved helping dredge the chicken in the mixture (then immediately washing their hands). I used Poultry seasoning in place of dried parsley. The chicken came out really moist, but I think I'll add a bit of kosher salt and some additional pepper next time.

  5. This chicken had a wonderful flavor. I used cutlets instead of chicken breasts as well, but they were thick so I cooked them for the whole 25 minutes. Super easy and super quick for those crazy nights! Thanks for a great WW Dinner!
