This was a wonderful soup. My family raved about it.
This is delicious. I put 1/2 the soup in a blender and pureed it with 1 tbsp of flour and this helped thicken it. Then I also added 4 oz of shredded cooked chicken. Yum.

I have made this soup twice and everyone LOVES it. I don't tell them it's Weight Watchers. It's just plain "healthy", fresh, delicious. I did put in a can of corn, a can of black beans, and shredded chicken. To DIE FOR!!!!
I found this to be too sour.
This is a very good recipe. I do not add salsa but I do add New Mexian green chilis. They are the best . Along with NM chili powder which can be a little hot if you are not careful. I get mine at the Santa Culinary Arts Institute. They are really good
Just made this. It's as good as any I've had in a restaurant and for 0 points, It will be my new staple. I did leave out the flour (I like it thin) and don't see the purpose of the sour cream, it's such a small amount not sure if that was an essential ingredient. Will be making this often!
This is a really excellent soup! I decided on the spur of the moment to make this and since I had no cilantro on hand, I threw in some chopped parsley, and added chives in place of the green onion. My can of tomatoes was 14.5 oz.
I didn't use the flour but did add a small dollop of regular sour cream to my bowl of soup but it curdled so I probably won't use that again. Next time I'll add some tortilla strips even though this is a very good soup without them.
i just now made this, stumbled on the recipe and saw that i had all the ingredients, some of which i had in the fridge that i needed to use up quickly. this is very tasty and i think i Will add Black beans to make it more substantial. if i had chicken i would have added that. good recipe.
I made this for me and my husband. It really is delicious. I added a little brown rice and it was so good. I will def make this again and to be honest, it didn't even really need the rice, it was so filling. Next time I may try some black beans or kidney beans for protein. Easy and quick to make too!
