Wegmans Bacon and Cheddar Burgers

This is how Wegmans makes their burgers. When we made these we used 1 pound each ground turkey and 95% lean ground beef. We served them on Arnold Select 100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins, with sliced beef steak tomatoes, sliced onions and ketchup.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 lbs 80% lean ground beef
  • 2 12 ounces hormel fully cooked bacon pieces
  • 4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.
  2. Form into patties. (We used our single-patty press set on 1/4"-inch thick for thick burgers like Wegmans).
  3. Grill until fully cooked.
