Way Too Easy Sesame Fish Fillets

"Easy, quick fish. Not good for salmon or tuna. It is best with thin fillets like bream, whiting or catfish. Sometimes I add grated fresh ginger to the oil prior to adding the fish."

  1. Good, easy, fast recipe. Will make again.

  2. Firstly I picked the wrong fish (baby snapper fillets - won't do that again when we make it again). We had a 3, 4 and 5 stars given so settled on 4. Very easy to make and quick would highly recommend for a quick midweek dinner. Thank you omeomy #2, when I next cook with the right fish will review again. Made for Recipe Swap #6 July 2007.

  3. The short prep time was what attracted me to this recipe, but sadly, the dish was not well liked by my kids. Maybe I prepared it wrong, so I may try again and see how it turns out. Thank you for posting.

  4. Yum, yum, yummy! The oriental-type flavour was really nice, and it was also good leftover! The fish we used was something I had never heard of before, cobbler or something. Definitely a make again!

Originally from New Orleans; are we food obsessed or what?? Sent to boarding school at a very young age where our major gripe was the food, of course. I swore never to eat stuff I did not like ever again. Life is too short for that nonsense. Its easier to list dislikes than likes/loves, so: Curry (every poverty stricken third world country reeks of curry, yuk!) Eggplant anything (I don't care how fancy you disguise aubergine, its still slimy eggplant). Pumpkin anything (I hear its good food for pigs...give 'em my share). Brussel sprouts (who in hell decided these were fit for human consumption?)
