From a smoothie cookbook... yummy, summer drink! I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
- 2 cups watermelon, seeded, diced
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup peach juice
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.
Yummy! Sweet, but not overly so. I tasted the mix before adding the watermelon, and that was tasty also. So for future reference: 2 smoothies in 1 recipe!
I loved this smoothie! It was very light but so flavorful. I made it just as specified; I think you could probably use peach or strawberry yogurt instead of vanilla if you wanted to enhance one of those flavors. Great summertime taste - delicious - thanks for sharing your recipe!
This is a great smoothie recipe! I don't like really sweet smoothies so I went with using a fresh peach instead of peach juice, used fresh strawberries instead of frozen, plain Greek yogurt instead of vanilla. It hit all the right notes for me and was so filling.I would never have come up with this on my own. Thanks for the delicious recipe.
