This was really easy to put together and very tasty. I didn't have red onion, so I used white (a tip for those who find the onion too strong - rinse it under running water before adding it to the salad). It will definitely be made again. Thank you.

I added about 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil. A light and refreshing summer salad, just perfect on a summer day. Great recipe!

This was a very fresh and interesting salad. It was different but very yummy, loved the simple dressing of it, thanks! Make this for the Rail Riding Rowdies ZWT5.

Delicious and so pretty -- the perfect summer salad! We served this with grilled steak and had Strawberry and Orange Cava Sorbet for dessert -- the perfect summer meal! Made for Zaar Tour 5, Mexico/Southwest. Thanks for sharing this keeper which we will be having again soon!

I had to try this ahead of Memorial Day to see if it would work and I must say it was refreshing, crisp (I didn't let it marinate for too long) and delicious. This would have been a definite five star if not for the red onion which really just detracted from the wonderful tastes. I will definitely make this again. Made for Memorial Day Challenge '08.

The salad marinated for 2 hours. I really like the way that the watermelon absorbes the flavours of the dressing. I was a little aprehensive but it was wonderful. I added greek feta to the salad, for a nice salty contrast. Thanks so much for sharing Susie cooks... a new family favourite.

This was a very good and refreshing salad. I left out the cherry tomatoes because I didn't have any on hand. Liked it so much I will probably always leave out the tomatoes. I think I will sprinkle on a little chopped cilantro for garnish the next time. Thanks for sharing
