Great on a hot day.
- 1⁄2 cup seedless watermelon, chopped into chunks
- 1⁄4 cup raspberries or 1⁄4 cup blueberries or 1⁄4 cup blackberry, frozen
- 1 dash water
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 3 ice cubes
- Combine and blend in a blender until smooth.
We doubled the recipe and used the raspberry option. We also added 1/3 cup blueberries (for the whole batch) and 1 t chopped mint. Then we turned it into a cocktail by adding Grey Goose Poire vodka. It turned out only so-so for us. For one thing, I think the mint detracted from it, so I wouldn't recommend trying our experiment. I also didn't like all of the little blueberry flecks. SO... if I were to make it again, I would make it as written with raspberries and no blueberries... and I would still add the vodka :-)
