  1. Terrific wassail! I wanted one that didn't use pineapple juice, and this was what I settled on. I put everything in the crockpot with some lemon slices floating on top and heated it for a few hours this morning, and it was slurped right up by my family. The trouble with some wassails is that they are just too flipping spicy. This one was nicely spiced but did not blow our heads off. A definite keeper. Thanks.

  2. This was a trial run for me, since I'm always looking for new things to make during the up-coming winter holidays! So, I cut the recipe down to half & had it available for company we had the other day ~ Much enjoy by all of us, sort of like a pre-holiday comfort drink! Thanks for sharing it! Location? Iowa (all my life) History? I grew up in Iowa and have only moved cities once and I don't think I'll ever leave. Education status? I am a graduate of a business college (2009) with an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences. I also graduated from high school in 2006 with a diploma. Employment? I've worked in a various amount of industries and jobs. From 2004-2006 I was a paper carrier for a local newspaper. From 2007-2008 I was a telemarketer at a business to business agency. In the end of 2008 I was a houskeeping assistant for a college. From 2009- now I've been a furniture specialist for a cleaning company. Interests? I love cooking, weather it is for a small or large number of people. Besides cooking I love to worship God and be with all of His children. I also like taking photos and listening to music!! My passions? I love to ride horses and be around animals of any kind. I also love to sing. ( I want to learn how to play guitar, flute, violin, and piano-if I ever have the time.) I write compositions, but I need to learn to play an instrument better so I can have them on paper looking (and sounding) good. I also love architecture and design. I like planning out a blank space and imagining what could be inside it. Or looking at an old run-down house and seeing the potential in it. Pet peeves? Probably too many to list. But the list is slowly diminishing with time and patience That's a little about me.
