  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender and drain.
  2. Whip potatoes with butter, sour cream, dash of salt and wasabi oil, paste, or powder.

Yummo! I used some freshly grated fresh wasabi which is a bit milder so used around two tablespoons and it was a real treat.

I loved these! A real nice change from the usual mashed potatoes. Everyone loved them, except my toddler, she tried them but said it was too spicy & I had kept some out for her with just sour cream & butter. ;) Thanks for sharing, I Cook! (Saw lazyme's tag in Adopt A Tag & knew I had to make these too! :))
