Warm Tomato Taco Dip

"I got this from the coupon inserts in our Sunday paper, and it turned out to be a great snack to eat while watching football, NASCAR, etc. Easy to make, fairly inexpensive and something a little different."

  1. Another winner here TA. I love these simple to put together kind of snack. Heck this could nearly be a meal. I was thinking I'd use it in a taco salad next!! Congrats on your football pool win.

  2. I was looking for a taco dip that wasn't loaded with sour cream and cheese, and came across this. I'm so glad I did! I had a pound of ground beef so I doubled the recipe, and used half immediately and froze the rest to defrost in the future for a quick snack. I topped with just a sprinkle of cheese because DH can't handle much dairy. I garnished with guacamole. Really good!

  3. Great dip! I made a change and used Rotel for the diced tomatoes. I served this with the topping of avocados and green onion and served salsa and sour cream as well. Goes great with a cold beer! We really enjoyed this, thanks for posting!
