  • Steam your diced potato and chopped onion for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, put all herbs and spices in the milk.
  • Take out your steamed potatoes and onions. Steam your milk for 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, mash your potatoes and onions with a hand masher while still hot.
  • Add butter to hot mashed potatoes.
  • Add cheese to hot mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Pour in hot milk a bit at a time and stir well.
