This is great served over pasta
- 2⁄3 cup walnuts
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- In a blender or food processor, puree the walnuts, water, oil and garlic until a smooth paste forms.
- Spoon into a large bowl and stir in the parsley, salt and pepper.
