This recipe was great! Made it for folks at work and they really enjoyed it! Would definitely make it again. However, I added about 3 T. butter to topping ingredients. It sinks into the cake and makes a nice textured top.
The cake itself was excellent very moist, the topping however was like eating sugar alone, it may have tasted better if the topping was mixed with some butter.
Excellent coffee cake. Very easy to make. Took this to church for a scrapbooking brunch party and it was gobbled up in no time. Loved the walnut topping. Also, was able to make this gluten free. I did add 1 T ground flax seed to the batter. Thanks for posting this Mary. Made for Sweet Delights Tag.
