This is a great recipe that can be dressed up or down. I omitted the wine, sour cream and fish stock due to DH's preferences and this still turned out terrific. Thank you Thorsten! Served with Recipezaar #78099 Spiced Rice Pilaf and the flavors blended well.

This was an amazing dish. I'm quite absent-minded, so I forgot to add the sour cream to the sauce, but it still turned out great! And now I just have that much more sour cream for my perogies! Next time will definitely try to remember it though, as I'm sure it will taste that much better.

My husband made this recipe this weekend. In honour of fishing season opening. Since we did not catch anything, we used frozen Pickerel. We so enjoyed it, a nice way to have Pickerel, that is so different. and packed full of flavour, YUM! He used cooking spay to grease the pan. instead of butter, better for you and you would not have noticed any less flavour. I hope the next time we have this dish we will have caught the fish fresh ouselves. This one is a keeper, and I have shared it with our neighbours
