Recipe that came with my GE waffle maker.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 3⁄4 cups milk
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Mix wet ingredients in a seperate bowl;.
- Slowly add together.
- Pour into waffle maker.
- After the batter is in the waffle maker, you can add fruit or chocolate chips onto the batter. And close the top.
Consistency of the batter was good but this lacked flavor. Probably should have added vanilla extract.
Let me just say, I am not a pancake or waffle lover but my two granddaughters wanted to make waffles on a snow day from school. None of us really care for maple syrup so I made sausage gravy and we poured that over these. I used the leftovers in place of bread and butter for our supper later and even though they were softer when microwaved the true flavor came out in these. I will keep this handy to use again. Thanks for posting!
I'm back. Along with the nutmeg and cinnamon, I added a tsp of vanilla extract. Yummy!
