Virgin Mojito

"I was looking for virgin mojito recipe and was unable to find it on Recipezaar. Hence a wider search on the wild, wild web. And voilà! Found an interesting looking one on the Food and Wine Magazine's website! Have yet to try it but I'm definitely sure the next time I have a little get-together, this will definitely be on my drink menu!"

  3. Love this recipe!!! So refreshing & love mint! I used LAX lime soda water & agave nectar (raw) for simple sugar & I cheated with 1 pack of sugar in the raw. ;) This is great for a party without alcohol & headache!!! <br/>Thank you!!!!

  4. Fantastic! Easy, simple, and very, very good.

  5. Made these with ginger ale. They were fantastic! My mint leaves were huge, so I only used 5 of them.

Tweaks

  1. For a calorie free version I made lime syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup Splenda, 1 oz lime juice + lime zest) with Splenda and used diet tonic water. I also saved the lime residue, chopped and used while muddling the mint (12 large leaves).

It will be my first year anniversary as a wife/housewife on the 30th of march 2006 and it has been an interesting year. One thing I've learnt to do is to cook more varied recipes (korean, italian etc). I'm right now living in the Bay Area and I absolutely love this place. Why? Where else in the US can you find good korean, Japanese and chinese supermarkets?
