My Grandma used this on me when I got overcooked on a camping trip. But like alot of Grandma's recipes - she didn't know exactly how much to use. Thank yo so much for providing the amounts. My daughter and some of her friends got burned on a trip to Florida, but I couldn't tell them how much to use. They added too much vinegar and it did not go well for them. I love the idea of putting it in a spray bottle. One other thing, my Grandma said to heat it up to baby bottle temperature - not sure why. This really does work - it may take a time or two - but it does take the pain and burn away.

My BF got badly sunburned a while back and this remedy was the ONLY thing that did anything for his discomfort and that horrible "deep itch" he complained about most... I chose to use Braggs ACV... and I did add in a few drops of lavender essential oil to help with the healing process and shook this mixture up in a clean spray bottle. A few spritzes of this "miracle" spray brought much relief to my poor, poor baby! Thanks so much for posting a great all natural cure to sunburn!!!

It really works. Even more to reduce a moderate fever you can soak a towel in a mixture of cider vinegar and water and wrap it around your legs and the fever goes down!
