We are enjoying these delicious squares. They are somewhat sweeter than what my family likes even though I reduced the sugar to 1 cup but good none the less. Made for ZWT6.

These are delicious ~ though mine came out very light-colored ~ must have been my sugar. The consistency takes a bite or two to get used to, but absolutely wonderful. Made for ZWT 6 - ASIA!

Perfect! I cut it into 16 squares and they're still very generous. Most of those got cut in half. I'm so glad to have this recipe, as now I don't have to rely on my asian grocer, 'coz they don't always have it! It's sweet, chewy, coconutty and caramelly. Drooooooooooool Like I said. Perfect!

THESE ARE GREAT! I especially liked the fact that they were made with rice & coconut milk! A definite keeper! Thanks for sharing this unusual recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed as a PRESSIE in the Aus/NZ 12 Days of Christmas Recipe Swap]

These are delicious sweet brown rice squares and are quick to make. It didn't take me that long that to cook the rice since I pre-boiled the water first cutting the cooking time to 2/3 (15-20mins). It reminds me of "tupig" another Asian delicacy. Thanks for sharing this with us, Elmotoo.
