A wonderful and refreshing lemonade from Vietnam that takes only moments to prepare. I can't remember now where this recipe came from but it's perfect for a hot summer day, or anytime.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Place the sugar in the bottom of a large jug.
  2. Add ice, lemon juice, the slices of lemon, the mint and top up with the mineral water.
  3. Serve in glasses with straws.

I found this strange. It was kinda overpowered by the mint and not quite sweet enough for my taste. After you let it "rest" and put it on ice, it turned out to be kind of refreshing (but it still had a STRONG mint taste). It tasted very fresh, though. Made for the unrated Asian tag game.

With a few adjustments, I loved this! I did add just a touch more sugar. I loved the mint flavor. I did quarter the recipe. Thanks for a refreshing drink! Made for the Asian Unrated game.

This turned out very well for us. We liked it better than our regular lemonade. We did a little over 1/2 batch and used 5/8 tsp stevia. I have a spearmint plant that I put in this year, and since 1/2 bunch is kind of hard to gage, I started out with with 2 stems and it was just right for us. I wanted to mince them fine, so I put it all (except lemon slices) in the blender and blended for a bit, then let it chill for a couple hours, then strained the mint. We don't like chunks. We will make this again, as we make lemonade a lot (we can't have milk right now).
