This recipe deserves 5 stars! It gives a little heat, is a little sweet, and is spicy from the ginger and garlic! I added 1/4 t sesame oil, 2 T sesame seeds, a large sliced onion, and 6-8 chopped baby carrots to the fish sauce and 1/2 c water, and cooked the mixture til the carrots were tender. To much fish sauce, one or two tablespoons would be enough and no need to add additional salt as the fish sauce is very salty. Also, to add a new flavor to it, add some shrimp. I usually use one pound of ground pork and one pound of shrimp and serve over steamed rice.

Worst meal I've served my family ever. Too much fish sauce made it WAY too salty. No other flavors came through. Might not be too bad with 1/4 the fish sauce, but I won't make it again.
