  1. Yummy! This was so tasty. I used SF chocolate syrup and white Creme De Cacao as well as Splenda to make this a little less guilty. Thanks for sharing:)

  2. Scaled this down to 1 serving for myself. Didn't use the crockpot either but instead used the microwave for 2 minutes. *blush* I just love the taste! It's like a creamy hot chocolate drink. Mmmm.. thanks for sharing, PaulaG.

  3. This was so good. We really enjoyed this smooth, rich, creamy drink. I used Irish cream and whipped cream. I didn't cook it in the crockpot, I couldn't wait that long, it still turned out great. Thanks so much for sharing Paula.

  4. The coffee, chocolate, irish cream combo is really lovely, but the coffee came out tasting a little burnt for us too. Sorry.

  5. Yum, Yum, Yum!! This is a wonderful treat on a cold winter's night!! I cut the recipe in half to serve just my DH and myself. Plus, I heated it in the microwave instead of doing the crockpot thing since I wasn't entertaining company. I do intend to use the crockpot in order to serve this at my next bookclub meeting though... This is a wonderful variation on my old stand-by of hot chocolate and irish cream. The coffee and chocolate combo is quite pleasing!! Definitely a keeper!! Thanks for sharing, Paula!

I came to this site in March of 2004. It was then called Recipezaar. This site was the first on-line site that I ever joined. I first popped in 2003 while searching for a Peach Cobbler Recipe. In March of 2004, DH was having shoulder surgery and I was looking for a Split Pea Soup. Once again I found myself on Zaar as it came to be called. Over the years I hung out and learned from some of the best home cooks in the country, I posted over 700 recipes on the site, reviewed over 3500 recipes and posted over 3000 food photos. Over the next 10 years the site made many changes and in 2010 it was sold to to Food Network and became Food.com. Until last year we played games, talked and shared with one another. As a result of the community and the relationships I built I got to meet some wonderful people from all over the country. I also have a great number of friends that I have never meet face to face. Some of us still hang out at various places across the net. Zaar was more than a cooking community. It was an internet community of friendship. Life is an adventure ever changing.
