Just a basic black bean recipe
- 1 (16 ounce) bag black beans
- 1 small finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2 slices raw bacon
- Soak beans over night and drain.
- add water, onion, cumin garlic and garlic.
- cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and toss in the pot.
- Set the whole thing on the stove between medium and low and cook for several hours or until beans are done.
