  1. We needed a gluten-free, pareve kugel. We used gf (corn & rice flour) tagliatelle. Also, we don't use margarine so we substituted a mild olive oil. When it was still wet & bubbly out of the oven I sprinkled on cinnamon and raisins, which set nicely into the top while it cooled. We weren't sure whether or not it had to be covered while it cooked, so we did cover it and it worked great. Easy, easy, easy - and vegan and gluten free!

  2. I can't believe how easy this was! I was able to cut some of the fat by using less margarine and a little less oil. Using angel hair and adding a little cinnamon and 1 egg in the recipe in a round casserole I was able to get the quickest Jerusalem Kugel ever!!!!

  3. It doesn't get any easier than this! I made this for Rosh Hashana for my daughter who doesn't eat meat, but doesn't eat vegetarian foods either. For these types of meals I usually make her a challah kugel, but she enjoyed this very much, as did all my other kids, step-kids, and guests. It's definitely going into the repetoire!

I'm a 27 year old mother of one and I LOVE cooking. Unfortunately, my husband and I have become very strict dieters (we've both lost over 50 lbs.!) and don't eat most of the stuff I love to cook - so I plan elaborate parties for all of our friends and make a giant buffet of everything I like to cook! It's been working out well and we have TONS of new friends!
