Easy is so nice. keeping life simple and chocolate. Not a clue where this recipe came from, but it was a keeper.
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 cup salad oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups cold water
- Put everything together in a bowl and mix well.
- I use an electric mixer.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
This is really delicious!! I've been making it once a week for the entire summer. Definetly a winner.
Very yummy cake- I found this recipe in a TOH and it was only 2/3 c oil. I frosted mine with prepared instant chocolate pudding mixed with a carton of Cool whip, then topped it off with chocolate sprinkles. So easy and very yummy!
