  1. Made this for ZWT4 Family Picks it was fabulous. I did make it more as a soup as that was what DH wanted for supper. So I omitted the flour and then I made my own noodles. Thank you for the great flavor for venison. Made by a Chic Chef.

  2. This was one of the best venison stews and so easy to put together. Will be a keeper!

  3. My family enjoys venison so this was a great recipe to try on them. They loved it. Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.

  4. Oh Jim! DH just loved this! Said I should double it next time. He had three helpings of this batch and there is barely enough for a snack left over. It was so easy to throw together. I think this would also work in a crock pot, which I might try so we can enjoy this during the work week. I am also thinking it would be super over mashed potatoes, with all that wonderful gravy. I sacrificed my last Halloween Ale for the beer, but I think it was a good choice. Any of the lighter beers wouldn't give such a great flavor I don't think. Thanks Jim and congrats on winning the football pool!

  5. Used stew beef (DH didn't get his deer yet)) and guiness stout for the beer. Threw it all in the crockpot without browning the meat, and served over egg noodles. Delicious gravy!
