Cookies Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs flour
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1⁄2 cup honey
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 oranges, zest of
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt

Glaze Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 3⁄4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

For cookies:
- Cream crisco, gradually adding sugar. Stir in honey, milk and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl sift flour, salt and baking soda.
- Add wet and dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Roll into balls approximately 1 T sized each.
- Bake at 325 degrees approximately 20 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown.

Glaze:
- Boil sugar and water until syrupy. Add cocoa and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
- When cookies are cool roll cookies in glaze until lightly coated. Be very careful, as the glaze will be very hot.
- Set cookies out on a flat surface until glaze has set and cooled.
