Ingredients Nutrition

  • 500 g potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 carrot, peeled and diced
  • 2 onions, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
  • 1 pearl corn, kerneled
  • half egg, lightly beaten
  • Japanese-style bread crumbs
  • salt and black pepper
  • cooking oil


  1. Steam carrot and potato under high heat for 8 minutes.
  2. Leave it cool. Mash it with potato masher. Set aside.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wok.
  4. Saute onion and garlic under low heat until onion turn soft.
  5. Remove from wok and add to the mashed potato.
  6. Combine the mashed potato and carrot with sauteed garlic and onion, beaten egg and corn kernels.
  7. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Mixed well.
  8. Pat 1/6 of the mixture into burger and sprinkle the surface with bread crumbs.
  9. Repeat and make 5 more patties.
  10. Heat up a pan with some oil.
  11. Pan-fry the patties until each side turn golden yellow.
