As a vegetarian, I really like to make things that my entire family (who are not veggies) will eat. This is a real pleaser that anyone will enjoy! 8)
- 4 sandwich buns
- 2 cups vegetarian ground beef
- 1⁄2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup onion, finely chopped
- Combine all ingredients, but buns in medium saucepan.
- Bring mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover and let cook for 10-12 minutes, or until onion is tender.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve on buns.

Delicious! I used texturized vegetable protein instead and it was wonderful.
