This is a delicious cheesy soup. The key is not to overcook the vegetables.

Directions

  1. Put the first nine ingredients on to boil until the vegetables are just tender.
  2. Do not overcook.
  3. Melt margarine in a saucepan.
  4. Add flour.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk, allowing to thicken.
  6. Add mustard, worcestershire and cheese.
  7. Pour the saucepan mixture into the vegetable mixture and serve.
