Creamy vegan tomato Alfredo sauce
- 1 (14 ounce) package fettuccine, cooked
- 1 (14 ounce) package silken tofu
- 1⁄2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato puree
- Blend all ingredients (except pasta) in a blender until smooth.
- Heat sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked pasta.
DON'T USE THAT MUCH YEAST. we prepared it as the recipe instructed and it tasted horrible. you could smell and taste the yeast.
