Vegan "honey" Cooked Cabbage

Cabbage in the honey cooked style without the honey.

  1. Heat oil in large skillet.
  2. Add onion and cook until soft, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook another minute.
  4. Stir in the cabbage, cover and cook about 4 minutes or until cabbage is wilted.
  5. Add the apples, vinegar, sugar and dill.
  6. Stir well and continue to cook until apples are tender, about 8 minutes.
  7. Taste for salt and pepper.

I liked the sound of this. However upon reading the recipe, I could not find the honey. So I didn't try it.
