This is the crust to use with my Vegan Cheesecake recipe.
Make and share this Vegan Graham Cracker Crust (For Vegan Cheesecake) recipe from Food.com.
- 1 1⁄2 cups graham cracker crumbs (which has honey in it so it's not "technically" vegan)
- 2 -3 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 dash salt
- Mix together all the ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a pie plate or cheesecake pan.
i found some vegan graham crackers and made the crust with it....turned out great!
I agree with previous commenters. Since this recipe isn't "technically" vegan, it shouldn't be listed as vegan. When I did a Google search it came up and it's annoying because it shouldn't have.
If it's "technically" not vegan, then it shouldn't be in the "VEGAN" category.
