This is a great recipe for flaky biscuits. I make it for my friends all the time, and they love it.
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1⁄4 cup vegan shortening, such as earth balance
- 2⁄3 cup non-dairy milk substitute
- Pre-heat the oven to 450°.
- Cut the shortening into the flour.
- Stir in the milk.
- Grease a cookie sheet with olive oil.
- Roll the dough into 2" balls.
- Cook for 10 minutes.
