This recipe came from an Email newsletter I get every week with healthy recipes - "Chet's Recipes"; Sounds pretty good to me! Lemme know if you like it! (Preparation time is a guess because I haven't made the recipe yet!)

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Bake at 350F for 60-75 minutes in a greased and floured loaf pan, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Remove from pan and cool on its side.

This recipe was extremely easy to make and tasted very good. I substituted the unrefined sugar with 1/2 C of Splenda and 1/4 C of honey and that gave the bread a wonderfully sweet taste. My family said it taste just as good as my other banana bread I make.

This recipe is really dense and less sweet than most banana breads. It's very hearty, though and tastes great. I just toss the apple in the food processor and then throw in the other ingredients. Works perfectly!
