  1. 8x8x2 pan or 2qt baking dish.
  2. place rolled oats, flour sugar salt and cinnamon in large bowl and mix.
  3. add butter and blend well. arrange apple slices on top.

I also baked for 25 minutes at 375. Apples came out fairly soft but not mushy. I used Braeburn apples (3 large sized ones) instead of granny smith. My boyfriend liked it and he is no where close to vegan!

What a simple, tasty, healthy dessert. I love the crispy oats, and the way they contrasted with soft baked apples. There's only one tiny problem with your recipe. You forgot bake time and temperature. (No big deal, the best Zaar chefs sometimes forget steps in a recipe.) About 25 minutes at 375 seemed to do just fine for my oven.
