Veal Parmigiana

"This is like my Chicken Parmesan, but this one goes into the oven to cook. We love this one a lot too! I serve boiled Parsleyed potatoes with this."

Questions & Replies

  1. Howdy, I'm concerned about the cook time for this... the cutlets will cook through on the stovetop in about 1 or 2 minutes. If I put it in the oven for another 30 minutes, won't it be overcooked? Thanks

  1. This was very easy to make and my family thought it was great. Even my finicky preschooler ate it.

  2. Excellent Dinner! I used pork scallopine and fresh tomatoes which I chopped in the food processor with herbs and garlic.Turned out wonderful, the whole house smelled like an Italian Trattoria! This was the first time I made "Veal" Parmigiana but certainly not the last time. Thanks, MizzNezz for a great recipe!

  3. I made this last night. My local grocery store was out of veal so I used pork instead. It turned out amazing. I followed the recipe exactly except I added a bit more Italian seasoning to the bread crumb/parmeasean mix. Everyone was super impressed!

  4. Awesome! Served along with Recipe #44833, hot buttered noodles and baguette. Delicious meal! Thanks so much!

  5. This is an awesome recipe! Lends itself to what you have on hand. Hubby brought home Pork Cutlets and they worked very well! I made a fresh tomato sauce as they are coming in from the garden right now. Got the idea from Gemini08! Now a favorite, thank you!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
