For Father's Day I wanted to surprise my husband with Veal Parmesan and came across this recipe and tried it. I even made my own bread crumbs (which i have done several times in the past but never with french bread) it made all the difference in the world I simply buttered the french bread and toasted it like normal and then made crumbs by tossing cut up pieces into my Cusinart Food Processor and WOW ! Hubby ended up loving it and wanting seconds! I served a simple garden salad along with toasted garlic bread ( I sliced loaf of french bread in half and used half for crumbs and other half for toasting for nice hot fresh garlic bread on the side to compliment this dish) I finished it with serving my homemade Cherry Crumb Pie which is his fav.
