What a brilliant recipe this is! It's a beautiful day in Oman today - the weather is awesome. We had a sudden rainfall that was out of this world, couple of minutes, and the place has become as pretty as the wings of a butterfly:) I made this a little after the rainfall, and everyone who drank it, went ooh and aah over it;) It's really good, and, I feel the vanilla syrup is very necessary if you want to enjoy this best. It really does make a difference. Very tasty comfort beverage. Thank you for posting, Auntie CJ!

  1. Measure cocoa and sugar into a saucepan with about 1/2 cup milk.
  2. Heat over medium heat and whisk until cocoa becomes smooth.
  3. Add remaining milk and heat until steam rises and bubbles form around the edges.
  4. Do not boil.
  5. Ladle into mugs and drizzle with Vanilla Syrup recipe #56460.
