This sounds like a very good dessert, Easy to make, serve chilled.
- 1⁄2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons Splenda sugar substitute
- 6 whole walnuts
- Stir ingredients together.
- Chill and serve in dessert bowl toped with walnuts.
I was really skeptical about this, but boy is it good! I omitted the walnuts as I didn't have any, but will throw them on top next time. Excellent dessert that is SB friendly. Thx Barb.
We made this with nonfat ricotta and chocolate syrup for the sweetener. It was yummy - like a ricotta sundae! There are endless possibilities here for a healthy dessert if you used different nuts or jams, etc. Thank you!
