    I got this recipe from a Watkins catalog. They make wonderful vanilla. These muffins are very tasty and moist. I'm not quite sure how many this recipe makes, I believe it is 12 or less.

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Combine sugar and egg, beat well. Combine flour and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture, alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.

      Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over muffins.

      Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes.

      These muffins were ok. I made them for breakfast with 4 children. Much bigger hit with adults than the children. I will say they turned out beautiful! Perfect appearance! Just beware if feeding to children.

      A very tasty muffin! I confess I used 3tsp of vanilla, but the results were perfect.

      I tried this recipe after using the online converter to metric, and the batter resembled a bread dough. Checked the recipe and found out the 2 cups of flour were converted into 473gr!!!
