      Followed your recipe right on down, & I'm another one who wouldn't change a thing! Normally I'm happy to increase the amount of lemon zest, but since the 2 lemons I used for this were large ones, that was good enough for me! Wonderfully flavorful cake that was gone rather quickly! Thanks for giving us the opportunity of keeping a copy of the recipe! [Made & reviewed in 1-2-3 Hits recipe tag]

      This was very simple to make with very good results. Mine did not get glazed as it was gone almost as soon as it was out of the oven. Thanks for the recipe

      What a great cake Pat, I made it exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. My family & I thought that it was perfect; tall, moist, tender, had an excellent crumb and a lovely delicate citrus flavor. The sweet vanilla glaze was the perfect topping. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I'll be making it again soon, for some reason it doesn't last very long.

      Very nice lemony cake. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I find that the butter amount a bit too overwhelming.

      So delicious! The cake is wonderful all by itself -- so moist and delicately scented with the lemon zest. The only change I made was to add lemon juice to the powdered sugar glaze as we love more of the lemon flavor. This loaf cake will be gone in a flash. I plan to share some with a neighbor as he just brought me a bag full of oranges from his tree. I'll bet this loaf cake would be equally delicious using orange zest and I may just try that the next time around. Thanks Pat for a great recipe. Made for Make My Recipe Reunion tag, December, 2012.

      This recipe says 'Summertime!" Made as written, good with glaze or without for a lighter desert. Topped this warm with fresh berries. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

      Wowzers - what a delicious and moist cake. We loved it and really loved that this is not an overly sweet cake which makes it perfect for a light tasting dessert. I did find I had too much glaze and next time would use half the recipe for that - I really coated this cake while warm with the glaze so it would seep down into the cake itself but still had too much. I took a bit of liberty and after glazing topped the cake with some grated lemon rind. Made for Went to the Market tag game.
