- In a thick bottom pan, combine all ingredients except for the essence.
- Cook this on low flame till thickens and reaches a soft-ball stage.
- Remove from flame.
- Then add the essence.
- Pour this into a greased tray, smoothen the top and leave to cool.
- After it cools cut into squares.
Muy neice made this recipe and it was not very clear on directions. You need to stir constantly or the fudge will become cake like and burn on the bottom of the pan.
