I found this recipe on the eDiets web site. Great to get you going...
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pretty darn good! Next time I might add a packet of sweetener just out of personal preference--might just be my particular brand of protein. I like the milkshake-like consistency--makes it feel a bit more decadent than a typical protein shake.
So very easy :) To vary it a bit I sometimes add a spoon of cocoa powder in place of one of the spoons of coffee. A real 'keeper' for me :)
Oh my, this is a great little shake. Just got in from a run and knew I just had to try this shake. I used chocolate protein powder and it was fabulous. My DS#1 is also a runner and gave this a huge thumbs up. He says "now that's a milkshake". Thanks !!!
